Sumar en la Recta Numérica
Es posible interpretar un número cualquiera en la recta numérica. Con el método que mostraremos a continuación se entenderá mejor el proceso que se realiza cuando sumamos 2 números.
Los números naturales representados en la recta numérica (entero positivos – lado derecho)
Cualquier numero entero se puede representar en la recta numérica. Usando dicha representación entenderemos mejor la posición de un número cualquiera.
La recta numérica comprende dos lados, los cuales son: la parte de enteros negativos (lado izquierdo) y la parte de enteros positivos (lado derecho), para este caso en especial solo nos enfocaremos en la parte de los positivos, esto inicia con el numero cero, e irá incrementando su posición de uno en uno, es decir el siguiente número será el uno, luego el dos, para seguir el tres y así sucesivamente hasta el infinito.
Para representar el número como flecha, tomaremos un punto inicial que será el cero, nos desplazamos hacia la derecha y nos detendremos en el lugar que tiene el uno en la recta numérica. En la imagen de abajo se muestra mas claro:
